TOLFA Segment 13, Question 1

Do you have a right to health care? Why, or why not? Of course! Civilization implies a caring, compassionate society. It would be barbaric to leave someone to die when he could be cured.
Of course not! That would be to place an obligation on the caregiver, who has a full right to his own life. The fit will survive, others not.
Certainly I have a right to seek health care and to offer payment in exchange. But nobody is obliged to provide it if the offer isn't attractive.
Health-care professionals may volunteer to help someone in need who doesn't have the means to pay for it, but that must never become obligatory.

Don't hurry away; even when you've got the right answer, try clicking on the others to see why they are wrong! Then when you have correctly answered this make notes in your student notebook, go to Question 2.
